Well, it's been too long since I worked on the bass. Here are the updated shots from tonights toiling.
Neck is now officially rough shaped. Lesson learned about "adding fluff" to a neck blank that has Wenge in it...
View from bottom to top. Still WAY more sanding to do once the body and fretboard are on.
The upper bout body "wing" is all glued up and ready for some time with the jigsaw or bandsaw... Anyone have good or bad results with either?

This is the lower wing. No back will be glued on yet as I am going to do the same type of cover Scotty and Mario are using.
I hope to be able to purchase the last of the hardware within a month. Damned shoestring budget!
