FedEx fail. The GK MB210 combo I ordered Tuesday and paid extra for overnight shipping on sat in Memphis from the middle of Tuesday night until sometime this morning. A call to FedEx only got me a "I'm so sorry sir. Due to high volume at Christmas time we are getting backed up." Thankfully, I'm an Amazon Prime member and only paid $4 bucks for overnight shipping...and Amazon, as always, was awesome and refunded the extra $4 even though it had nothing to do with them.

These two killing me to post because I would love to pick one or both up for myself. I'm a little short on funds at the moment and I know these two won't last long. Lakland Skyline sunburst 4460(Jazz Bass) $746.71 and sunburst 5560 w/blocks and binding $989.41. For each the price will likely return to normal shortly after one is purchased but two people may be able to snag one at the low price if they buy them at almost the same time. Picked up a Mono Case Betty strap in Ash grey...long version...for a hair over $23 bucks. They sell for $55 on the Mono Case site and $40 or so elsewhere. It's the only color and length that is that cheap at the moment.

Gallien-Krueger MB150S/112 Bass Guitar Combo $501 - A great price on a VERY small all aluminum1x12 combo, 26lbs 150 watts. Despite being all metal, it's probably NOT the best combo for metal. My 76 year old dad gigs one of these regularly with upright and electric bass. He replaced a Polytone Mini-Brute with it and absolutely loves it. Mostly jazz tho. He's not really into metal.
