upgrade pups for squier affinity jazz bass

I just purchased a new affinity jazz bass. I wanted to know if mim fender jazz pups would be a good upgrade for this bass. I got a real good deal on the mim pups. Should I put the mim pups in the affinity jazz or save the pups for another bass project? any suggestions for other affordable pups? thanks.
