Upgrade?

I currently have a nice little Orange Crush 35B Practice Amp, and I've been told that it's good for the price etc. etc., but I'm using it with a Stagg BC300, and it sounds fine. Question is, think it's good enough for a nicer guitar, a G&L tribute, or Fender Geddy Lee?
I'm unsure of the importance of good amps, and was wondering if I needed something bigger and better to justify a nice guitar? I will eventually get a decent amp for gigs, but this is just for band practice etc, so slight quality differences wont be a problem, will they?

You'll be fine....a nicer bass WILL sound better thru almost any decent amp. If U R planning on getting a better/bigger amp later, then U can't go wrong in getting a nicer bass. Just pick one that suits YOU & YOU like the feel, look & sound of. DON'T get one just coz 'so & so' has one or because of the brand name.... get it coz IT SOUNDS, LOOKS, & FEELS good to you. G & L Tributes ARE great for the $$$$ IMHO.

An AMP IS VERY important to you final sound, as is the right bass. as is the right speaker cab. Do some serious trying out. & ask questions & use the search function in these forums.
