Upgrades?

Hey fellow bass enthusiasts. I'm willing to listen to all your input and advice regarding some basic modifications that I'm seeking to get done for my bass. This includes pickups, bridges, strings, etc. As far as the style of play, I don't do much slapping and not too fond of too much treble. I play a FSR Fender Standard Jazz Bass (Natural Ash) into a Acoustic B200. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

An upgrade is only an upgrade if it makes the bass better for you, in terms of sound, playability, and/or looks. Without knowing what you don't like about the instrument at present there is no proper advice to give, save maybe to suggest you not make any upgrades at all until you have a definite purpose in mind.

Strings require experimentation; you can read up on types and brands on the strings forum, but in the end you'll have to listen for yourself to decide what's right for you. There are no shortcuts, IMO.
