Uprising Muse sound

Eq on bass amp thoughts anyone?
I am sad that i do not own the Prunes and Custard, but i get a nice (at least for me...) and similar sound by using a Boss OC-2 into parallel effect loop (via Boss LS-2) of EHX (Black) Big Muff and a Zvex Wooly Mammoth Clone (without gating).
The bass part uses a Bridge Humbucker (MM style) only and for EQing its a toally midscooped setting on my amp. I think Chris Wolstenholme drops even more mids then i did.

It sounds like this with wet and some clean mixed (recorded by Shure SM57 Mic):

I prefer to Mic the distorted sound. It sounds terrible on my DI settings. And then i mix it with a second channel of clean sound via DI.

"575" means you kind of "boost" the mids ? Thats the opposite of what i meant. You put bass and treble all up on max and set the mids to the minimum.

THINK I've got the right settings to nail the tone:

Oc-2:
Oct 1: all the way to the left
Oct 2: all the way to the right
Level: 12 o'clock

P+C:
All knobs 1 o'clock
Left switch: bass
Right switch: pointing left

FF:
Sawtooth
Speed: 8oclock
Frequency: 150hz
Ratio: 1:4
Mix: all the way to the right
Resonance: 8 o'clock
Buzz and trim: 12 o'clock

Mix with clean through either ls 2 or second amp
Thanks as will to @kaputsport

So bass 10 mid 3 treb 10?

I think there may be communication breakdown regarding units here:

Using a clock face vs pot values.

On a clock face, B5 M7 T5 is a mid scoop with bass and treble boosted.

Using relative pot values(1-10? 11??), B5 M7 T5 would be a slight mid boost.

I don't have a solution for the Op, just trying to clarify what I saw as miscommunication.

Yeah I think this was the problem as I was using clock face. On pots b 10 m 3 t 10

If i remember right he used a oc-2 into a prunes and custard.

I would grab a used oc-2 for $50 or so and run it into ur muff.
It’s it absolutely not the oc2 into prunes listen to my version I’m running amp1 (ehx octave multiplexer into animated( animato clone into prunes and custard ) amp2 (Russian big muff) prunes and custard alone doesnt give you the distortion you need...and oc2 much to synthy .doesn’t have enough grit..by far the closest I’ve heard

Sorry to reopen this thread
I have woolly mammoth , prunes & custard, animato , big muff black russian, oc-2 and ehx octave multiplexer
I tried every combination, I can confirm the main sound of uprising sound is ehx octave multiplexer into animato, not sure the prunes & custard is used. I think a resonant filter is used after the EHX+Animato, and not the P&C. Maybe the Electrix Filter Factory is used but I do not have one to confirm. There is a live you can here the bass with less effects than the album, search taratata uprising
this sound is 99% EHX into Animato
