I really wish this was a 5er. Received this in a trade and the Audere pre sounds phenomenal.
2015 Lakland USA 44-14, sunburst over alder, with rosewood fretboard. Lakland MM/J pickups with 3-way toggle for bridge coil/both coils/neck coil on the MM pickup. Audere 3-band preamp with volume/blend/treble/ mid/bass controls...which sounds ALOT better than the Lakland pre. Nice low action and plays like a dream (as all of these USA Laklands do). Really good shape…..has one ding on the side and a few small scratches on the back (see pics), but overall very clean. Strung with new Pyramid 45-105 flats. Weight of the bass is 8 lbs, 8 oz.
Nut width is 1.6". Neck profile is fairly slim, think along the lines of a 62 Precision but a bit smaller. 12" fretboard radius. Original Lakland hardshell case included.
Will consider a trade plus cash or even add cash to the right bass. Looking for a Sadowsky NYC or Metro PJ 5 (prefer Japanese) or Valenti/Loprinzi PJ 5 (vintage not modern)…not big on maple fretboards(but now who knows lol). I'll listen to anything else of course, always willing to work a deal!! Trade value would be $2,200. Multiple bass trade would need to be in my favor a good bit (because I would likely be selling them).
