This is a Precision body from USA Custom Guitars that I purchased new.
I've had several bodies and necks from them over the years, and their
work is always outstanding. They supply some of the top builders with
necks and bodies. The wood for this body was selected by Tommy (the
owner) because I requested a lite weight piece. Check out their

Bridge Pickup Route -- Standard (Long) Jazz Bridge Pickup
Bridge Mounting Holes -- Standard Fender 5 Hole
Input Jack -- Long Threaded Panel type. 1/2" (13mm) Hole On Edge of Body.
Sheilding -- Control Cavity, Pickup Routes and Connecting Channels have 4 coats of Conductive Shielding Paint.
Control Cavity Cover -- is secured with Machine Screws into Brass Inserts (rather than wood screws).

I breifly had it assembled and played it very little (at home). So it's in
fantastic condition with only a couple of imperfections in the finish.
I have a brand new, never used matte black pickguard (.090 thick) made by
Pickguardian specifically for USACG's P. bass bodies as an option for this
body. I realize some might prefer a traditional P. bass rather than a
pickguardless soapbar configuration. So, if you want the pickguard, it's
included. The entire soapbar route area would be covered by pickguard
if it were to be used.
