For your consideration is a 5-String USA Fender Active Deluxe Jazz.
This was manufactured in February 2014, so just turned 9. It was my first US Fender 5 and it didn't disappoint. Excellent B string for a 34" scale. I think it is gorgeous. The glossy ash body with the maple neck and black pearl blocks look is classic. No dings to talk about, I believe it has always been a closet queen. Weighs 9.96lbs, which I heard is on the light side for those basses. And the case... it is awesome, I wish I could keep it.
