Does anyone have experience with this bass? Just wondering how the neck is on these for play ability and the weight.

I think they are being rediscovered again. The only 5 string bass designed by Leo. Very cool.
From what I've heard the neck is really slim. The pickups were supposed to be really hot and powerful.

That's my bass that I am currently selling. It's a thin-necked 5er, the only one Leo ever designed. I actually have another. This one was recently serviced by warpedneck.com to treat a bow in the neck.

So is the problem fixed and what are the chances of it warping again. Why would it warp in the first place.

The source says the neck is 1 3/4" width at the nut, same as the current #10 neck that is being fitted on all other G&L fivers (L-2500, M-2500 and MJ-5).
