Didn't even know these existed. How do they compare to an EBMM StingRay 5?

OP can answer, but I’ll chime in, having had plenty of Lakland’s.

35” scale and 19mm string spacing at the bridge. Will feel very different in the hands. Some love the wider neck… some don’t. As for the sound, Lākland pickup and (I assume) LH3 preamp will not sound like an EBMM. But, some wouldn’t care while others are super picky.

There is an old video on YT of this model and I remeber thinking it was pretty close to a MM compared to a 55-94 or 02. I think it’s basically because of the pickup placement. Personally I’ve always wished MM basses had these specs, wider nut and string spacing. This is very tempting!!!

You are correct, Due to pickup placement, it will definitely sound more like a Stingray than a 55-94/02, with the variables being how the pickup/preamp flavor the sound.

You should buy this bass!
