90's Gibson Tobias Renegade. Sounds awesome, plays great, and in pretty good shape with a few scratches. Color is dark chocolate, almost black and slightly translucent. Three peice maple neck with thick maple board on top. Two Bart Pickups, Bart 2 band EQ, with pickup splitting switch for MM pickup in back. Active / Passive on Volume. Lots of tones. B string is tight and blends right in. Likely you know somethings about these basses and they don't come around that often. Set for gear but may consider P5 or similar P/J - P/MM5 or a fretless 5 plus or minus cash as needed.
Very cool bass! Unfortunately I've got one I need to sell, but if the timing was better for me I'd scoop this one for sure. It's a heck of a lot of bass for that price. GLWTS
The videos are just examples of this model and not the actually bass I am selling. It is posted to people can get a sense of the sound.
34 inch scale. Excellent B string blending in naturally. I have seen on the internet that these are 18 mm spacing, but it looks like 17.5 to me.
They are very similar if not exactly the same. To me somehow I find this one a tad bit thicker as it has a thick Maple board on top of the three piece maple neck. It has a broken in feel.
