Double Bass Use PA Speaker w/Aguilar TH 500?

I have a 2x10 but want something smaller and cheap for use with my upright. I've used a PA speaker with an acoustic image amp years ago, but no longer have either one. Does anyone have any experience with this, and therefore any recommendations?
