I remember one of the newer ones on Reverb or Ebay...not sure, but it didn't sell and was relisted, if I'm not mistaken.

Are the originals from 2000 or whenever worth that much more than the reissues?

I didnt quite understand your question... I was refering to the sterling classic that were made 2010, 2012..

I had a beautiful 2 tone sterling classic ....but sold it because i didnt like the slab body .the glossy neck, so sticky. The sound wasn't different than my 2002 sterling. It just wasnt for me

A used Sterling will cost considerably less than it should. For whatever reason, resale is poor on the Sterling. Fortunately I'm not looking to sell either of mine!

If it's not the 2007 reissue it MAY be worth more. How much more, is in the eyes of the beholder. I once owned a 2007 5 string SR5 that weighed 12 pounds, and had to go. My shoulder wouldn't take the strain on countless 3 set gigs.
