There is a guy on Craigslist selling a Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 for $400. It goes for $1,000 new but I wanted to find out if this is a good system and a good price for it.

Yes, it's what I use, but $400 seems awfully LOW for a used set.. $700 would be closer to what I would expect.
If that is the REAL price for the COMPLETE system (buds, xmiiter and receiver) then it could be a GREAT deal..
However, new receivers run that much..
Check it out first.. buyer beware!
OK. so no buds included, which explains the low price as you'll have to buy some if you don't already have them.Check it out:

If it looks in good condition, I'd say go for it..![]()

I think I found them and they are $60. Do you recommend any cheaper headphones I could pick up at Guitar Center/Sam Ash that I could use to try out in ear monitors. One of the clubs we play at has wireless IEM systems if you bring your own earplugs. If I like it I plan on getting custom plugs. Before I buy the system on Craigslist I would like to try out in ears at my gig tomorrow.
and less of this...
