I have found a pair of Peavey SP118 subwoofers semi-locally for a few hundred dollars. I've been searching around, but can not find any reviews/indication whether these are any good or not. They are the ones with what looks like 4 corner ports, and I believe they are loaded with the Pro Rider Black Widow 18" driver.
I am currently planning a build of 2 fEARful 15subs, but they won't be done for quite some time do to space constraints. So, will these work out decent enough?
My tops are BFM Jack15 cabs that I scored a while back, so the subs would not have to reach past ~90hz.
I don't think I'd have a problem getting my money back out of these when the time came. But I don't wanna waste my money/time if these are garbage.
