Vampires and math

pffft. he failed to take into account the fact that there are 3 types of vampiers:

type 1. "Big" vampiers, these are the ones that can create other vampiers, they can only be killed with a wooden stake, they are too powerfull to be damaged by the sunlight. These vampiers can hybernate for many years when they deem it necessary. They can create type 2 or 3, and on verry rare occasions type 1

type 2.) these vampiers cannot create new vampiers, their lives are typically short due to the fact that the disease destroys some of their brain cells

type 3.) "mosquitos" these vampiers can not create new vampiers, their life spans are generally the same as those of normall humans

The only danger of type 2 and 3 vampiers is the fact that they can spread diseases like aids

source, stephan king, the dark tower, wolves of the calla

I was hoping for a way more profound and scientific explanation, using the principals of thermodynamics and such.

For example, the fact that the average human contains enough silver to kill a vampire, and when trying to transform a human into a vampire, the silver contained in the human's body would then instantaneously destroy the new vampire's body.

Yet the more logical explanation exceeds you?

AWESOME series of books. For the past year and a half I have been reading 'em from start to finish. I am currently almost finished with V the Wolves of Calla.

The vampires are Types 1, 2 and 3.

Types 1 are the only ones that can create other vampires I believe. Type 3 are just the "mosquitos." Type 2 have a little more power than type 3 but not much.
