Greeting All!
Thanks to yet another Franken-Squier project, I have parts leftover with which I'm proffering up for any interested parties. As with all my sales, PayPal is preferred, prices include shipping, but international shipping will cost more and if you're in the Delaware/Northern Maryland/Eastern Pennsylvania/New Jersey area, I'll gladly shave a reasonable amount off the price for a face-to-face transaction.
Just to make things a little interesting, whomever buys a part first gets the neck plate and bolt-screws!
As far as trades go, make me some kind of offer. I'm not looking for anything in particular right now, but the worst I can do is say, "No, but thanks anyway!" Maybe something small will intrigue me and can be used to reduce the cost of a larger-priced item. I will say this though, I'm not looking for any whole basses right now.
1. Squier Vintage Modified Jazz V Body: $90 SOLD
It's a 2013 model, just after they switched to the "Fender Designed" pickups. The original owner was a working musician from the Gulf Coast of Texas, so there is a small amount of rust on the non-stainless steel parts. (I replaced the pickguard screws with new ones. They were the worst of the lot!) Also, there's a bit of cracking surrounding a gouge on the bottom end (third pic). Any other dings are practically invisible. Outside the minor cosmetic lumps, it's in excellent working condition and sounds exactly like a Jazz bass should.
2. Squier Affinity Jazz V Neck: $100 SOLD
I gotta brag a bit. This was a helluva score! The used Affinity Jazz V I stumbled upon was in incredible shape. The whole package sounded as good as it felt. I can honestly say, this is one of those occasionally-mentioned gems that comes out of Squier's Chinese factory.
The neck, a 2015 model, is in excellent condition. Everything works exactly as it should.
3. Custom-Made Pearlescent Blue Jazz Pickguard (Four-Stringer): $25 Moved To It's Own Thread
This single-ply guard came with a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz also destined for parting-out. (I starting to feel like a serial killer, ripping up all these basses for their limbs and guts!
) The thumb rest went with the body, but at a buyer's request, I'll gladly throw in a set of nickel or black-finished pickguard screws.
