Verify Email Address - Scam or not?

I just got an email, subject "Please re-confirm your active subscription to our mailing list." supposedly from Talkbass.

It went to an old address, and had a link to app.quicksizzle.com.

It smells like phishy-SPAM, but since many websites outsource mailing list handlers, I thought I'd check here. Is this possibly a legitimate message?

Good question, but before I read this, I went ahead and did it.... my car just got stolen!

Just kidding, but a good question.... I should of been smarter and checked it out before just clicking the email.

That's some coincidence - 3 of us posted the same question within 4 minutes of each other.

it means we all check our email too often
