Yupper! Two types. Live snake and dead snake! (The dead one's easier...Oh hellz ya! Can i make a snake? It's the only one i can do!
I've seen that video before. It's somewhat logical, but:
I don't believe in global warming caused by humans anymore. There's too many scientists that question the effect humans have on the world climate, and I've even heard that IPCC have fired scientists that have come to the conclusion differing from the general opinion at the institute.
Not too long ago there was a documentary about the science that don't support global warming. I didn't watch it, but a workmate of mine who is older and wiser than me saw it and he said it totally changed his opinion about global warming.
A couple of weeks ago I read an interesting article in the local newspaper about the same subject, and it claimed that we now are in the very end of a natural solar cycle (suess cycle) that have a frequency of 1/210 years. If that is true, the average temperature will drop quickly about 5 degrees C (which is a lot!) in the period 2010-2018, then continue to fall a couple of degrees more for about 80 years and then again slowly rise for another 70 years, and then stay relatively high for another 50 years. Then there are a few other solar cycles that interferes with this big one, making the temperature drop very strong after this decade.
Reliable temperature observations in made the end of the 18th century in Sweden, shows the average temperature 210 years ago, dropped very quickly for eight years and the whole 19th century was really cold... I hope the effect of this solar cycle is not going to be as strong as 210 years ago, but I'm a little afraid it might actually be the case. Then we will not have any nice and warm summers here again until the next century...
Although the human effect on the world climate might be negligible, the oil resources aren't endless. There's no reason not to try to reduce the energy consumption in the world. So in that aspect the guy on that video have a point...
Isn't the point to leave out all of the fluff?
Unfortunately someone has to create an argument to keep it simple for those that are intellectually challenged.
What's also unfortunate is that all of you 'so called' intellectuals are quick to jump on it and ridicule anyone who might gain some sort of understanding or spark of interest by seeing the simple argument.
