VFE Rocket EQ

Hello Everyone. I have been reading a lot on these forums lately, been playing for a while and I have been upgrading my rig as is a bit outdated.

I have a Boss GEB-7 currently but it seems that I'm getting some stage noise from it. In the studio it is fine.

I like the idea of a parametric EQ, I'm 99.9% sure this is the route I want to go but I was wondering about what kind of humming & buzzing that users of the VFE Rocket EQ encounter, if any.

I mostly want to tone down one of my low-mid frequencies since it is overpowering everything else and makes it tough for me to mix live....not sure exactly which freq....and I think a parametric will be perfect. I intend to eventually phase out my GEB-7 once I get everything dialed in.

Just for reference, my rig is an Ibanez EDB600 through the GEB-7 through a GK 400RB-IV & GK GLX410 Goldline Cab.

I will soon have a GK Fusion 550 instead of the 400RB and a Sterling 4HH instead of the Ibanez which should also help.

Thanks,
Mike

After doing the Fusion 550 and MM Sterling 4HH upgrades....I actually no longer need any additional EQ. Setup sounds great just plugged straight from the bass into the amp, no effects needed. I will keep this pedal in mind if I ever have a change of heart. Thank you for the input.
