Probly. But I imagine wooten's g and d string get quite a workout. I'm no jaco or victor, I popped a string and it stopped me dead cold in the middle of a song.

As a chronic string breaker, I can attest that it's much easier to deal with losing the G than ony other. The D & A are the worst to deal with.

You'd better be able to finish out a tune when one goes!

Victa broke his G string in the first song at a show here in Indianapolis (@ The Vogue, can't remember what year, but he had JD Blair on skins).

Kept going then too. I hope to catch his solo show again soon. He puts on a great show.

I saw him with the Flecktones doing a duo with his brother. He broke the G string then as well but you wouldn't know it from the sound. He just played further up the neck, his G string hanging beside his body.

I saw him at a clinic one time. He broke his G string and still played like nothing had changed. A few minutes later his D string broke. The crowd awwed when he broke it. Victor just said, "wow this is a first" and we all laugh, but he still played amazingly!
