vintage tone

so I just bought my new rig. A hofner galaxie short scale since I'm only 5 4". It's really great but had to set the action and intonate it a bit. The maple neck is smooth as are the frets but I wish it came in a maple fingerboard. The staple pickups provide a nice rich tone and I leave the tone about half way and turn down the bridge pickup a bit. I just ordered new d addario half rounds since I'm not a fan of round wound strings. My new amp set up is an acoustic b450 combo with 2 tens and a horn bridged with a acoustic 115 cab. The total output is 600 watts between the two so it's going to be great for gigs.
