Vintager and Vintager...

Never a bad idea to have covers. Also not a bad idea to take better care of your gear ;) Tolex looks great, but the tradeoff is you have to take better care of it than rat fur.
 
I agree, cover the Tolex. 25 years ago I thought it was "cool" that my cab looked so beatup and roadworn with the Tolex coming off of it.

Then I realized it just looked like crap. Since then I buy gear with covers or make them myself (my mom taught me how to use a sewing machine when I was a kid). IMHO it just looks so much more professional when it looks like you have taken care of your gear.
