The dude slapped on every bass except the Vintera Seventies Jazz. Go figure.
These Vintera basses have been on my radar. I really don't need another bass, but there are two that really speak to me...

Depending on what happens, I may be the getting the 50s P in Sea Foam for Christmas. I like the color combo (even if I found the neck to be a bit wide at the nut. Maybe it is a profile that would just take getting used to).
Has anyone on this thread actually tried one out yet? I'd like to hear what you thought about the jazz versions in particular.
I have the 60’s vintera jazz in daphne blue. First of all, it’s my favorite fender color. Then neck is a thin c. Like really thin. Think Geddy lee thin, then maybe a little thinner. Frets are vintage narrow, not medium jumbo like my other Basses are. Now, stock electronics are fine, so is the bridge. I updated my electronics with the Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups and control plate. For me, huge improvement. The stocks are fine, but these are a little more of the sound I wanted.
I put on a kickass bridge, and the sustain has definitely improved in my opinion. I changed the Pickguard for looks and am in the process of changing tuners to some that are NOT reverse. But these are all personal preferences.
I loved the bass stock, right out the box. But now, for me, it’s truly a pleasure to play.
Put some LaBella gold flats on it, she sings so deep. I love it.
You won’t be disappointed in my opinion.
