I've been getting more interested in Jamiroquai's style of bass playing and have started learning most of their earlier stuff. I'm now trying to play Virtual Insanity but i can never seem to get the chorus right.
I've looked into UG for their bass tabs on it and I can't quite comprehend the bass line written for the chorus:

I know it should be slapped but it doesn't sound quite right when i play it. Any suggestions that might make it sound more better or maybe it's just me
