For the life of me, I can't get the Voice Recorder app to record music played over the iPad channel on the Mackie Fader app.
IOW, I'll record, using Voice Recorder, a live set of a band I play in. No problem. But as soon as I hit Record on Voice Recorder while the set break music is playing over our PA via the iPad channel on the Mackie 1608, the set break music stops.
This kinda sucks as I'd like to record myself at home practicing using the 1608 w/out having to use the 1608 Record function which, as far as I can tell, requires me to hook the 1608 up to my laptop to download the recording to listen back. PITA for practice purposes.
Is there a way to make these two apps more "compatible"? Does all this make sense? Can you tell I'm technically challenged??
