voices?

Ok, just sitting in my room playing along with some tunes and during a little break I notice voices, so I turn off the tv in the other room and it's my amp.

Yup, sure enough there's what appears to be some sort of asian talk radio coming through my amp.......

Called my buddy(guitar player) and put the phone close to the amp, he can hear it too!!!!!!

anyone else ever had this happen?

Sounds like your rig is picking up radio transmissions. If it
becomes a problem, any different length guitar cord usually helps.

Either that, or it's the known curse where an amp is haunted by an ancient restless japanese spirit and the musician dies 7 days after he hears the voices. Don't worry about it, a week from now you really won't care.

long time ago, I could actually turn the cab, guitar or move the cables to adjust how well it came in.

I could also pick up wireless callers when the phones were new, not cell phones, the house wireless ones.

We used to rehearse in mid city-where all the 'car/rev-heads' would do their cruising. We used to getall their CB radio talk comin thru our amps- we used 2 get some funny stuff.
Once- a guy was comin thru our spkrs saying " (C.B.talk-) 10-4, 10-4, anybody out there lookin to party, come back" Now this went on repeated MANY times. After the 10th or so time-we're getting pretty sick of it, we stick our heads outta the window & there all by himself- in a NICE car- was the lonely dude picking up his mic & repeating "anyone wanna party there-come back" Poor lonely guy!! Was a laugh tho!

So- it happens to all!- the voices I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're picking up a radio station. My bass used to do that, but it just mysteriously stopped a while ago.
