Volume pedal recommendations?

Since I've switched to a Jazz Bass from a P-Bass, I've found I really miss having a master volume control, so I'm thinking I'll go a volume pedal.

I'm not a pedal or effects user really, so I'm wondering if any volume pedal (I.e. for a guitar) will work? Or if I need something specifically designed for a bass?

thanks!

I think that you won't need a special bass volume pedal, if there's such a thing. So I can see no reason why a guitar volume pedal wouldn't work with a bass guitar.

There are a lot of offering out there so pick one that suits your budget.

Ernie Ball make a popular volume pedal, can't remember the model name though.

I use the Visual Sound Volume Pedal, chosen because of the LED strip down the side that reflects the position of the treadle and because it had stereo capabilities, definitely good but there are others that could do the job just as well.

If I didn't have one and were in the market these days I'd buy a Sonuus Voluum.
