Currently searching for a volume pedal but not sure where to start. My main issue is that my pups come out too hot and there's some humming when I'm not playing, so I'm just looking to bring that all the way down so that there's no buzz when I'm not playing. I saw the Hotone Bass Press and really liked it but have yet to test one out, also I'm not sure what Hotone's reputation is regarding durability and longevity. Was looking for some insight on what would be better. To give an idea of what the chain might look like: Passive/Active Bass --> Volume Pedal --> HX Stomp --> FOH. I've heard things about active and passive volume pedals and didn't know there was a difference, but I play with both passive and active so I'd like something I can use with both.
