Volume Troubles

When I installed my new pots on to my SX bass, i realized that all of the volume on the bass was determined bythe last 1/8th turn of the pots. They are 500k split shaft pots, made by gibson. the tone pot is a 250k pot with a .047 cap. It is wired as a standard jazz bass with v/v/t. Pickups work perfectly fine, but its real tough to get the perfect mix between bridge and neck. what do i do??

you need to replace them with audio taper pots ... you snagged linear taper pots by mistake
