What's the yellow stuff made out of?
... thats what they do... deliver big things
... website said 'out for delivery' - otherwise I could've picked it up :***:

I never wait for them any more. They've fudged up my deliveries enough times that now I have them held at the depot & pick them up myself. It usually saves me 5 hours of waiting for them to deliver to the wrong building.
I only trusted one courier delivery to my door recently, FedEx with a Rickenbacker. I determined in that case it would be more travel for the bass to get sent to an office where I could pick it up myself.
The FexEx hub is 3 miles from me, but the pickup office is 30 miles from me.
In the case of UPS, I can pick up 3 miles from home, and I did today, a Tone Hammer 350.![]()
I always wondered what that was.speaker stuff?
say he didn't have room on the truck for 'the big thing' !?!![]()

... patiently awaiting the arrival of our friendly UPS man... any idea what piece will complete this 'puzzle'?

Its a Traveler 121H (horn)... I've had all sizes & combos of MB cabs., heads, combos... its a matter of taste - the 102P is gonna push more air (thus volume) than the NY121... I'm not impressed with MB 10" drivers... just not my sound. If you're looking for a 1x12 cab - I would highly recommend the Traveler 121H. The extra cab internal 'space' & horn really make a difference. I need a bit more volume/low end, at times, than I can get with the 2-12's together... thats why I decided to pick up 2-15's. I realize other brands can probably give as much, with one, as I'll get with two - but I just wanted to stay with MB tone!![]()
So UPS driver arrives with the cover... say he didn't have room on the truck for 'the big thing' !?!... thats what they do... deliver big things

Well - I live in a condo... so not cranking on it tonite anyway
... pics of family coming tomorrow... hopefully![]()
121H seems like it might sound better but it is also heavier and bigger and for me am looking for the smallest lightest cabinet that i would be willing to lug it around with me and other gear. it looks like i'll have to go across the country and try out the 102p myself i guess.. the 121H is not available here and the only decent cabs that are sold here are markbass and hartke
Ooohhh... you splurged for the Markbass cover. I remember calling the dealer for a price on one (for my 104HF) and the guy on the phone said "are you ready for this?" I went with it but it was not cheap. Real high quality cover but no handle covers or bottom straps. I ended up taking a bath on the cover... at least I didn't lose much on the cab when I sold it.
... actually - next purchase will be a Nano Mark 300 - soon as they're available in The US... tiny!

I have been searching info on lightweight 112 cabs.
So I was looking at the MB Traveler 121H and I was curious about the horn section. I'm not much on a lot of sizzle from my amp (I play EBMM basses) - so I am looking for a smoother, less bright sound. I have an Eden D112XLT that I like - running the horn level about 50%.
I guess I'm asking if the MB 121H is an overly bright cab or not. I have a MB MicroMark 801 that I like, but I have not got to try any MB cabs.
Does the Traveler 121H have a recessed handle?
How would it work as a stand alone with my Little Mark III?
