Wal basses will return!

Delivery Time for a Wal!!!!
2/25/2007-----
There as been an incredible amount of speculation regarding Wal Basses and the current state of the company. Currently, the shop is being moved and no new orders are being taken until everything is in place to facilitate the manufacturing of these fine bas guitars.

just has to setup shop.....

Heck, maybe I'll just skip the intermediate carvin icon and just start saving up for one of these now..my dream bass.

haha, he misspelled bass. That's funny.

Also, potentially good news! I'd love to have a Wal some day, but the pricetags of late have put me completely off them.

I can wait...
Well like a couple of others already said...even if it takes a couple/few years before new orders are taken, then I'll wait. Because I will not buy a used one now at their rediculous prices. See, I have nothing to loose by waiting.

I'm sure there will be a price increase once (IF) the new space opens and Pete begins to work.

BTW, I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but you do know the back order list has a wait time of about 4 years now, right?
And "NO New Orders Being Taken"?

He'd make more money and probably reduce his waiting times if he patented his pickups & electronics and sold them separately. The basses IMHO are nothing special !
I had a Wal for a trial period. I found it VERY heavy for such a small bass, the pots must have been dirty b/c any adjustments were scratchy, the input jack was scratchy, and the sound was not that much different from my StingRay. I sent it back. And for the price (it was used) I could have bought two used StingRays. Just my opinion of one used Wal Bass.

As opposed to waiting 4-5 years when the new prices will probably be around $6,000 US anyway?

:ninja: ps: there is no "red" in ridiculous, and loose is the opposite of tight, not win :ninja:
