    Price:
    $10000
    Strings:
    6
    Location:
    Ontario
    Country:
    Canada
Up for trade is my 2018 Wal MK3 6 string bass!

Facings - Birdseye Maple (including headstock)
Core - Brazilian Mahogany (Standard Wal)
Fretboard - Ebony (My preference for a Wal over Indian Rosewood)
Weight 10.86 lbs on my Rapala Digital Fish Scale
2018 build, therefore built by Paul Herman
String spacing is 17mm (Super comfortable!)
Nut width is 2 and 3/8”
Ships in latest Wal Hiscox Case
    A real TONE MONSTER!

The base price on an MK3 6 string starts is £8150 (approx $10,525USD) then you have upgrades, shipping costs, and duty.
    Order/Contact - Wal Basses
This particular bass when purchased new was $11,500USD.

    TRADES:
Will consider 4, 5, or 6 string basses in fretted or fretless 28" to 38" Scale
Here are bass brands that interest me: Alleva Coppolo, Carl Thompson, Fodera, and Wal.

Since I know I will be asked regardless of the fact I want to trade my bass over a sale, the price tag is $10,000USD via US Bank Transfer without shipping included. I reserve the right to keep this instrument at any time.

I had this bass made personally for me. I can attest that it truly is something special. If I hadn’t just purchased a couple four string Wals, this would be on its way back home currently. I told myself I would buy this bass back in a heartbeat if given the Chance. Also, just a heads up....when I owned the bass there were two cosmetic “nicks or imperfections” worth noting. On the lower horn of the bass you can see a scuff/ indentation made by an instrument cord. This was caused by our sound man one night. The only other spot I found on the bass is just below the arm cutout on the front facing, in the picture it is to the right of the glare. Both marks are very minuscule. Having said that, the new owner’s jaw will certainly drop when they hear the Tone of this one!

Thanks for posting this Bob! Bob is the original owner of this instrument who had it commissioned directly through Wal. I wholeheartedly agree that this bass is a total tone monster and I don't say that lightly.
I'm honoured to wield such an instrument of this calibre.

I'm after basses that money can't buy......because others own them.
Sometimes you have to bring out the best to get the best and during this pandemic.....man does this market need the best :)

Awesome!! Man I just bought a pre-Gibson Tobias and just got my Grand Stick with upgrades back from Emment. How about some sound clips? Definitely a Wal is on my bucket list. How does feel slapping that beast?

Giving this another bump. Owning this instrument has been a real treat!
I have no problem keeping this bass, it's officially my favourite 6 string of all time.
But I guess I'm just hopeful there could be a trade that would match this beast.

Seller's remorse can't be fun with an instrument like this.
