Wal-wart frustration

OK.. looking for advice -
I have a wireless mic (Sennheiser) - with the usual wal-wart power adaptor - in my rack. I also have an IEM transmitter (Mipro) with ITS wal-wart.
I have a 19" distro unit in the rack.. all power cords are plugged into it. IEC's stay, so does the Mipor wal-wart.

The Senn works loose every time I transport the rack. It's a PITS to have to find it, and relocate it in the power distro.

What are y'all doing to keep these things from falling out?

If I'm not misunderstanding you, one thing you can do is simply pinch or spread the prongs so that they still fit in the socket but have greater friction.

I zip tie all wall warts and adaptors to the power strip, works well for me.

Tried that.. Doesn't work on this particular wal-wart.
I'm trying to avoid zip-tying the darn thing - which I KNOW will work.. but

How would one do that?
This one is a 2-pin vertical, so there's not really anywhere to put velcro ..

Even with a horizontal-style adapter, unless it's flush with the receptacle, there's no where for velcro.
See the Raised connector block on BOTH walwarts.. ??

You could cut a hole the size of the raised block into a larger piece of Velcro(Both sides).
You could also stick a strip right between the prongs but it may keep the plug from going all the way in though.

Probably not the easiest solution, but should be very effective: If your PD has standard outlet devices like the one shown below, it wouldn’t be hard to pop the cover and change them out for hospital -grade outlets. Hospital outlets are designed for constant plugging-in and unplugging, and have a really tight grip.

Probably not the easiest solution, but should be very effective: If your PD has standard outlet devices like the one shown below, it wouldn’t be hard to pop the cover and change them out for hospital -grade outlets. Hospital outlets are designed for constant plugging-in and unplugging, and have a really tight grip.

Wayne.. yeah.. that's pretty much the back on my unit.. any idea on where to obtain the hospital grade outlet.. Think I only need one!

I'd hot glue it on with a fairly small dab of the stuff. The wart would stay put yet you could work it loose if necessary.

I use a horizontal Tripp-Lite.

3M Dual Lock may work as it has a much taller profile than its Velcro counterpart. I rarely have to remove the rubber feet when securing pedals to the board. You can also trim to fairly small size without loss of efficacy.

Are those 20 amp receptacle capable?
Are there 2 prong to 20 amp adaptors out there?
That might tighten it up.
Any thought about going to another power source?
