Walking Bass Book

So, im looking for a really nice book about Walking Bass Lines. what I want is something that instead of giving exercises, explains more the basis and that goes deep into walking bass, so I can understand the options when building my own. Anybody? thanks!

Welcome to TB!

This question would do better if you posted it in the correct section (General Instruction). Off-Topic is for non-music-related items. Also, you should do a search in that section for "walking book" (or similar) to see what other people have talked about previously.

Ed Friedland is the man! his books are amazing, while his youtube vids are entertaining is username = the bass whisperer. also, my current teacher (in college) has a book out, and his method is just as good. I finally understand walking from a practical standpoint. its called Crawl Before You Walk by Tom Warrington. great stuff.
