I am working on all the things you are and days of wine and roses this week.. .Jaco plays wine and roses on standards and I love this bass line (walking) by pearcy heath who is one of my favs on the following album

going about it the following way
1. learning the melody on bass .. with some swing eventually
2. learning the changes mistakes and all from the real book
3. basic walking lines and 2 feel where needed in the head of the tune with aebersold and mr metronome.
