Wall Hangers

I can almost guarantee that this subject has broached here before, but I can't find it, so here goes. True bass insanity is beginning to take hold of me. I am getting to the point that I have more basses than free floor space. I am considering wall mounts/hangers. My question, do these place any undue stress or can, in anyway, harm the bass (neck). If not (flow chart question), do you recommend any particular hanger?
Thanks

Most hangers will do unless you have a doubleneck Rickenbacker ore something equally heavy.
Just make sure that you have long enough screws (I don't trust the ones in the box) and something reliable to screw them in.
I recently bought two K&M 16280 Guitar Wall Mount's for my two old Burns bass and guitar that I haven't used since ages ago.
These mounts are both cheap and works pretty good.
Might not work well with heavy basses because the base is made of plastic.

I live in a 100 year old brownstone. Lat and plaster walls. I think I could hang a Toyota from these walls with no problem. 5 10lb basses should be OK. But it is a legit concern. In the past I have hung quite a bit of workout/weight equipment from these walls.

I've been hanging my basses and guitars on the wall in the last 5 years or so. Hercules wall hangers are all I use. I've got few types of their wall hangers including a couple that can hold wide 7 string basses neck.

And I've got few more installed.

That yellow Ibanez is a super-short-scale bass?
The vibrato-bridge is a nice touch!

Yep, super short scale 6 string bass. I tune it EADGBE just for fun. The bridge is a very, very rare bass-version of a Floyd Rose. Only two were made. The pickguard looks like black plastic, but it's actually a very thin slice from a huge piece of onyx. It's a very expensive instrument.

My choice: String Swing CC01K-BW . I put a 2x4 on the concrete wall. I would put a 2x4 into studs if it were drywall. I know of no reason why storing an instrument this way would be any worse than any other storage method. Mine is not in direct sunlight.
