Walls rattling/buzzing

I have my amp about 6 inches to a foot away from the wall, and when I play most things on the low strings, I get that buzzy/rattling sound walls. Obviously if I turn gain/bass down, it goes away. Is there anything I can do besides that? Are the walls in my room just super thin and rattle easily? Is the amp in a bad position?

Sounds like that's a natural resonating frequency for the room.

Yeah - just the way it is. A "B" note (especially 7th fret on the E string) gets the drywall rattling in my practice room.

Just the walls right next to your amp? Sheeessshh! I get the walls going, and the drums, and any acoustic instruments, and the light fixtures, and the mic stands... Really, the buzzing is quite normal. All you can do is stiffen up those walls some. You could try acoustic dampening stuff, but bass freqs go right through that stuff. Goes right through most anything.
