    1982 Fender Walnut Precision Special
    Fender’s first boutique bass
Seriously rare, less than 200 were made
    Solid black walnut body, neck/fingerboard

    Active/passive electronics, 9.5 pounds
Passive mode gives resonate old-school P-Bass thump
Switch to active for tones that really cut through the mix

    Looks, Plays & Sounds great!
    SOLD

I've never seen a bass with a walnut fretboard before! How does it compare to maple?

It's nothing like Maple. Passive, it has a woodier tone than Rosewood.

Nice. 9.5lbs is an excellent weight for one of these.

This is one of those basses I've been wanting for a while. I am in the sell mode.

    Darn

I do wish you the best of luck with the sale. Although that's like wishing Scarlett Johanson good luck getting a date. That is one beautiful bass.
