Warmest roundwound strings

I have found Fender 7150 Pure nickels and GHS Pressurewounds to meet that category.

+1 on the Fender 7150s - Sunbeams are my faves, but the 7150s are definitely warmer.

Fat beams are warmer that Sunbeams , aren't they ?

Not for me. FatBeams are a good bit brighter. Both are round core, the main difference is that FatBeams are stainless steel.

I recently tried 4 sets of DR's on my Brubaker, this is how they ranked from warmest to brightest:

Nickel LoRiders
Sunbeams
Black Beauties
FatBeams

DR NICKEL LO-RIDERS. I can't believe no one has mentioned them.

I use mostly flats, but by far Nickel is the only way to go for me on rounds. I am using some Markley Nickel rounds and about to try the Duncans, but so far Nickel Lo-Riders are the deepest sounding.

Gonna try the GHS Pressure Wound and the DR Nickel Lo-Riders out and a Jazz Bass to see which I like better. I've used DR Hi-Beams on a Modulus before with great success.
