Warmoth neck question.

Hey all,

I have a MIM Fender Jazz V that I'm wanting to acquire a new neck for. I've modded this thing pretty intensely (the only things that are original are the neck and body), and I'm really wanting to customize a Warmoth neck for it. I'm wondering if anybody has done this? I did a search and came up with all sorts of things about people doing this with a MIM 4-string, but I'm wondering about the 5 string specifically.

What I really want to know is:

Did it change the sound?
Did it change the playability?
Did it fit smoothly?

Thanks!

Fit- it's a nice tight fit, you may need to sand back the finish a touch, but not often.

Sound and feel, yes and yes, there will always be a slight difference to the sound when you change parts, just due to the difference in construction. Feel, it's Warmoth, not Fender, they do not have the same CNC, and are slightly different, although the programs are similar specs.
