I have one on a bass I built from Warmoth parts, I’m just not sure I can quantify how it would balance on any other bass, due to the total choices I made on the parts.
By way of explanation, it’s a mahogany body, with a bridge I’ve never used on any other bass, that evolves a lot of body routing (2TEK bridge), so I haven’t a clue how it balance with any other neck, nor how my wenge/wenge neck would balance on another body. I CAN say that the overall bass is a boat anchor, one of my heaviest basses at 10.34 pounds, heavier than any of my Dingwall 6 strings and only surpassed in my collection by an ESP LTD B-206SM and my Carving XB76WP, which is mostly walnut and maple.
All that said, my Warmoth’s balance isn’t bad, per se. It’s just heavy.
