This is a fun and cool, medium scale 5 string from Warwick's "RockBass" series (made in China). I bought it to experiment with a 32'' 5er tuned EADGC. I was unimpressed with the stock bass/treble preamp, so, being an Alembic guy, I pulled that out and installed a JTEX Distiller low pass filter with 3-way Q switch. Instant personality! I also replaced the stock chrome knobs with some nice "east coast" style, black, machined aluminum knobs. Then I got rid of the cheap Gotoh knock-off tuners and put real GB7 tuners on it. This is where I gave the bass it's only real flaw. I had to slightly enlarge the holes for the new tuners, and in the process, I pulled a total rookie move and went through too fast on the lowest one, which popped a little circle of the black headstock veneer off. I put it back on with a drop of wood glue, but it is visable and you can feel it. See pics. And the last two mods are the addition of peel-and-stick fingerboard dot "inlays", and stick-on side marker LEDs.
So, while I consider the experiment a success, it just isn't something that's going to become my "go to" bass, so I'm moving it along. The bass comes with the original Warwick gig bag, truss rod wrench, and misc. hang tags and paperwork. I will also include the old preamp and 4 of the original tuners (not sure where #5 went…). Ships in original Warwick box. Buyer pays actual shipping.
PS - most of the rear pics were taken before I added the LEDs. There is a small pod on the back of the headstock for the battery, which you can see in the pic with LEDs on. THIS pic shows it with a Hipshot, which is not included. Sorry, just trying to get this up before summer is here!

How much does the bass weigh?

Man, I'm sorry, I meant to reply last night, but I had a hellacious day at work and forgot all about it. Bringing the freight scale home tonight and will have an answer for you.

Just curious... what's the fingerboard (neck) width at the 12th and 24th fret? I know the Katana's are very narrow and I like that.

Thanks for the reply. It is 99.9% sold through Reverb. If something goes weird, I'll let you know.
