    The II version does not have the purple heart sandwich in the body?

    it is a purple heart sandwich in the body. It must only be on the P Nut III's... Is this the artist series version not made in Germany? maybe those are different? here is mine...

    yours looks to be a German made version, maybe just an early one without the purpleheart wood
