Warwick Corvette 2010 LTD 4 String Bass NT

Been looking at this Bass for possible purchase. It looks beautiful, and the options with the pickups intrigue me. Curious if the re arte any owners out there who would like to share their experience with this bass? Pro's? Con's?

I currently play a Fender American Standard Jazz. It's a good bass, but i'd like something with a bit more tonal options.

Well this bass is an AMAZING bass, I do not have one but I have had the honor of playing one....let me tell you it is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! It has unlimited options and sounds a lot like a jazz bass except punchier... There's just one thing.... It's $4000 so why I would say to that is either wait a couple years and the price will drop to about $2000 maybe less, or get 2 or 3 basses with comparable quality to the Warwick you can't get more tonal options than 2 or 3 different basses, but if you hbe money to blow go with the warwick

The 5 string 2010 Corvette LTD is my favorite 5 string bass ever amongst the 5s that I have tried (got a chance at Bass Player Live). Wonderful action, easy to play, lots of tone possibilities. But the resale on Warwicks is a challenge. If you look at the Warwicks that successfully sell on ebay, there is little going for over $1500. If you are going to keep it forever, then maybe not so much an issue.
