Warwick Corvette

I saw a used Warwick Corvett (looks like it's from the late 80s)at my local Music Store.

I made fun of it because I don't like the body style.I am more of a traditionalist, Ps, Jazz, Telecaster basses are my thing.

However when I played the thing tonight, I completely "flipped " over the neck.What a quality feel and tight groovy sound.

I am thinking of trading my Fender Arodyne Jazz Bass up to it.They have 950.00 on it. I think thats 200.00 on the high side. A good price would be maybe 650.00- 700.00, right?

That's pretty much dead on. Considering you can find a used Thumb BO for around $1000 and a SSI for not too much more, asking $950 for a Corvette is excessive.

You can find Corvettes for less than $600 if you look. The one you played probably had a thinner neck than the newer ones, which tend to be really beefy.
