I just made a great trade for an FNA Jazzman yesterday. The gold tuners and knobs are pretty worn out along with the plastic cover on the back and I want to replace them. It sounds and plays great so I want to clean it up as much as possible. Any input as to where to get these parts would be appreciated. I keep hitting dead ends. thanks
find the parts you need here: knobs: Sound of Wood - Standard control Knob (2 pieces) tuners: Sound of Wood - Warwick Bass Mechanik back cover: Sound of Wood - Warwick Elektronikfach and give US music corp a call here: 800-877-6863, and ask for the guitar department. they will ask for the specific part numbers, and you can pay through the phone, or whatever other methods they offer. they are the US supplier of warwicks btw. hope this helps
Forget the Warwick tuners, get Hipshot Ultralites or Gotoh's. They are a drop in replacment and are much better.
No problem! @bongo: the OP wanted to know where to get original parts, so I provided those links. warwick also sells schaller tuners, and yes gotoh or hipshots would work just as well, if not better.
