I bought a Warwick Streamer Standard 5 string Rockbass, I was wondering if any MM Pickups would fit on it. If not what pickups would be best to use(I play metal mostly). Currently my pickups are the MEC Vintage Humbucker Passive 5 string, the dimensions are 44 x 104,5 mm.

I don't think any MM pickup will drop in as a replacement for those, though I think there are some aftermarket options out there in that size/shape. I've also read a number of posts where people change the pot values in those basses and get a much better sound than stock. I've never had one, but you should ask your questions here:

The streamer standard has odd pickups.

Bartolini I think these are the ones that fit 4-String Vintage Washburn - W4CBC - Bartolini Pickups & Electronics

You could , for a few bucks have a local installer route the body, if the pickups you get are bigger than the existing.

Hey guys since you all seem to be up on the Warwick specs and challenges: i recently bought my first Warwick. Streamer LX jazzman. Really beautiful looking and sounding bass. 16. 5 Spacing nice for fingerstyle, and the bass neck and playability in many ways is excellent. Couple of issues i've noticed and just wanted your views - i have seen some dialogue on these in various Warwick Forums as well. First the balance of the bass is just really headstock heavy and almost requires one to subconsciously or consciously control the neck angle, which takes away from the playing flow. Second: I find the spring spacing of 16.5 pretty tight for advanced slapping (wooten etc) and access to frets above 21 problematic, and have long fingers - ok for tapping (and a beautiful flat neck!) and chords, but lines and scales, no. Third: I don't mind the weight (gather LX streamers lighter and smaller than say Thumb) but i find it lies very flat on my body, and can't really see the neck as i play (not always needed but sometimes good!) while some basses I've had the way the bass sits has just enough angle so you can reach and see the neck....am I crazy or are these common issues with the Warwicks???

They are. They make the best fretless neck I’ve ever played but I just could not hang with the rest of the bass, it’s an ergonomic nightmare.

The string spacing is adjustable and you could probably get it to 17mm, maybe even 17.5mm. You have to loosen a set-screw that holds the little saddle block and then the saddles will shift side-to-side. Put them where you like, then tighten the screw again.

As far as sitting flat on your body, that's kinda what the contoured body is supposed to do and what (for many) makes them comfortable to play.

The heavy headstock effect is not something I've noticed on my Warwick (a Corvette FNA Jazzman 5-string, similar in many ways to the Streamer Jazzman) but you can always put ultralite tuners on it. In all honesty the Warwick tuners are nothing special.
