warwick jazzman fna question

I am looking into a warwick jazzman bass and had a couple of questions i was hoping someone could help me answer. I noticed that on most models there is a toggle switch to run the mm pickup single coil. The bass i'm looking at does not have that. Maybe some year models did'nt have that feature? It has a bubinga top and most models i have seen do not. I was also curious if you could tell if this is a german made bass or not.

Any warwick experts out there?

Its a German model. I've never seen one quite like that though.Warwick offers "special" editions quite often, so it could be one of those. Check to make sure there isn't a push/pull pot for coil tapping.

There's FNA, and Jazzman FNA models. If you can tell which of the two that it is, you may be able to narrow down further from there.

go to warwick website and input the serial number. it will tell you everything about the bass.

Warwick has made two special editions of the FNA and it's not one of them. It could be a custom shop model.

The easy answer to that is:
the FNA only has a MM pickup
the FNA Jazzman has MM and J pickups

This is not a custom order since it doesn't have the Warwick CS symbol on the back of the headstock. I remember seeing one pretty much like this one and it was a GC Anniversary special edition or something like this(Ok, just searched the Warwick forum, check this out: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] )
